Santa Ponsa is a small town in the south-west of Majorca. Located in the municipality of Calvià with ist own beach, it is appr. 20 kilometres near the capital Palma de Majorca. The town is a popular holiday destination and attracts people from countries with colder climates such as Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and Great Britain, especially from April to October.
Santa Ponsa has a total of 3 golf courses (two 18-hole and one 9-hole). There are English Schools, e.g. “Baleares International College”. The city also has its own marina (Club Náutico Santa Ponsa), built in the bay “Sa Caleta”. The marina can accommodate more than 500 boats from 7m to 20m length.
